Several Dead As Sandy Hits Northeast U.S. Coast
President Barack Obama has declared “a major disaster” in New Jersey and New York State after a massive storm smashed into the east coast of the United States.
The measure makes federal funds available to residents of the hardest hit areas.
Sandy is the largest Atlantic storm ever to hit the northeastern United States.
At least 28 people have been reported killed across several U.S. states and
Canada since the storm hit New Jersey on October 29.
Heavy winds left more than 6 million people without electricity.
In New York City, seawater flooded much of the subway system and road tunnels.

SPOOKY! – HURRICANE SANDY Was Forecast for NY in Oct. 1997 as “Simulated Emergency”
Westchester County Communications Officer Sandy Fried, an Amateur Radio operator and ODES staff member, had recently attended a training seminar at the National Hurricane Center in Miami. Part of the training was a simulation using data from the Hurricane of 1938 that caused major losses on Long Island and in Westchester. The texts of the simulated bulletins, forecasts, discussions and strike probabilities along with the hurricane’s track were sent home with the seminar attendees. We named the simulated hurricane after Sandy, who incidentally was nine years old during the real Hurricane of 1938.
These texts were used as the drill stimulus. They were time-shifted to simulate land-fall around 6pm on Saturday, October 4th. Working backward from this time, we used these texts to generate and automatically update a World Wide Web status page (http://www.weca.org/SET) and send email to the Westchester ARES/RACES email reflector and fax to the County Emergency Operations center at the times that the National Weather Service would normally have sent them.

The reality of weather modification is no conspiracy theory.
But ask yourself this, "If we can modify weather then why don't we still do it for the good. For instance, seeding clouds to make it rain, so our breadbasket doesn't become a dust bowl, or so fires that burned for so long could be quenched? And why don't we steer hurricanes away from murderous rampages, instead of directing them into it?" There is no more question we have the technology. And no excuse not to use it for good.
Since before the 50′s, weather modification techniques have existed. In fact, the threat of "weather weapons" was so imminent that the United Nations felt it necessary to draft a treaty ensuring no nation would use this "new means of warfare" against one another. Why would the U.N. draft a treaty if weather modification was just a conspiracy theory?
Treaty defined "weather weapons" as follows: "[...] the term "environmental modification techniques" refers to any technique for changing -- through the deliberate manipulation of natural processes--the dynamics, composition or structure of the Earth, including its biota, lithosphere, hydrosphere andatmosphere, or of outer space."

While the debate rages regarding whether or not the U.S. government uses weather manipulation technology to steer storms like Hurricane Sandy, further evidence shows the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been engaged in research to do just that for years.
In 2008, an article in New Scientist discussed a new DHS project that funded research into guiding and directing the intensity of hurricanes.
Citing Hurricane Katrina as the basis for the project, the Hurricane Aerosol and Microphysics Program (HAMP) worked with Project Stormfury veteran Joe Golden and a panel of other experts “to test the effects of aerosols on the structure and intensity of hurricanes.” HAMP was funded under contract HSHQDC-09-C-00064 at a taxpayer price tag of $64.1 million.
Though the paper was labeled “final report,” further journal articles regarding HAMP have been released, and the HAMP project was reportedly not scheduled to end until 2016.
The question remains: With its bizarre combination of elements, was deliberate manipulation through HAMP research at play in Hurricane Sandy?

Severe storms move markets like any major news event. And Wall Street is eyeing stocks that could rise and fall most based on the severity of Sandy.
Violent weather causes property damage caused by wind, rain, flooding, downed trees and power outages. Early damage estimates for Sandy are roughly $5 billion, according to Bloomberg News, citing data from Kinetic Analysis. Nasty storms also spur spending by consumers gearing up for the storm, as well as after the storm, when money is spent to restore damaged property to pre-storm condition.

Labor Department Says No Decision Yet on Whether to Delay Jobs Report
UPDATE: The U.S. Labor Department on Monday said it is “working hard to ensure the timely release” of the October jobs report, saying it intends to released the report on schedule Friday despite Hurricane Sandy.
“It is our intention that Friday will be business as usual,” said Carl Fillichio, a senior press advisor at Labor. Mr. Fillichio’s statement provided clarity to an earlier Labor statement that said the agency would assess how to handle data releases this week after the “weather emergency” is over.
Friday’s employment report will be the final read on the labor market ahead of the November elections. Initial reports that a delay was possible briefly fueled speculation that the jobs data, good or bad, might not be revealed until after the elections.

Filmmaker and political activist Michael J. Murphy talked about new evidence for chemtrail spraying and geo-engineering. The very weird weather patterns we've recently been experiencing could be related to climate control, geo-engineering, and chemtrail spraying, he suggested. Weather modification is nothing new, and was used for military purposes by the US as far back as in Viet Nam, he noted.
Project HAARP has the ability to heat up over 200 square miles of the sky with metal particulates, creating high & low pressure systems, and actually steering storms, he stated.
According to meteorologist Scott Stevens, heavy spraying is taking place about 1,000 miles ahead of storms, Murphy reported. Testing of rain has revealed high levels of aluminum oxide that has vastly increased over the last seven years, he continued, adding that such toxic aluminum exposure could be connected to the rise in Alzheimer's. The chemtrail conspiracy theory holds that some trails left by aircraft are actually chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes for purposes undisclosed to the general public in clandestine programs directed by government officials. This theory is not accepted by the scientific community, which states that they are just normal contrails, as there is no scientific evidence supporting the chemtrail theory.
As a result of the popularity of the conspiracy theory, official agencies have received thousands of complaints from people who have demanded an explanation. The existence of chemtrails has been repeatedly denied by scientists around the world, who say the trails are normal contrails. The United States Air Force states that the theory is a hoax which "has been investigated and refuted by many established and accredited universities, scientific organizations, and major media publications". The United Kingdom's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has stated that chemtrails are not scientifically recognized phenomena.
The term chemtrail is a portmanteau of the words "chemical" and "trail", just as contrail is a contraction of "condensation trail". The term does not refer to other forms of aerial spraying such as agricultural spraying ('crop dusting'), cloud seeding, skywriting, or aerial firefighting. The term specifically refers to aerial trails allegedly caused by the systematic high-altitude release of chemical substances not found in ordinary contrails, resulting in the appearance of characteristic sky tracks. Supporters of this conspiracy theory speculate that the purpose of the chemical release may be for solar radiation management, population control, weather control, or biological warfare/chemical warfare and that these trails are causing respiratory illnesses and other health problems.
