Great News! Kudos and Thank you to Judge Katherine Forrest for standing up and defending the U.S. Constitution, as well as protecting the rights of the people. She’s the People’s Judge. There are two kinds of Judges in our country today, People’s Judge or Plutocracy Judge.

Unfortunately, it was a short lived victory; #TPD won’t stop until they get what they want!

A federal judge blocked the government from enforcing a statute that allows the indefinite detention without trial of terrorism suspects. That means a victory for journalists and the activists fighting the law who could be arrested because their jobs sometimes require them to interact with suspect on the government's radar, but it could be a victory short-lived. Only one day after a judge granted a permanent injunction on the NDAA provision, the White House asked for an appeal. Tangerine Bolen, the founder of Revolution Truth and a plaintiff in the case, joins RTs Liz Wahl for more.

It’s hard to say if something like this just slips under the radar of most people or if they just no longer care about the executive branch making a complete mockery of the American people.

I can’t really blame people for being apathetic about something like this when our government is actually fighting for their ability to indefinitely detain American citizens without charge or trial in the face of a surprisingly positive federal court decision.

By comparison, removing a petition from an official website calling for the government to actually follow a court ruling after a year of ignoring it is hardly worth getting in a huff about. On the other hand, I think we should be bringing attention to all of the ways in which the government is proving itself to be a complete joke and this is yet another example to add to the growing list.

Why the US establishing military bases in Africa? Africa Today-06-26-12

A report from the Washington post has stated the US military have established small air bases in Africa to keep surveillance on some African regions they consider to be a threat from ‘Al Qaeda’. Along with air bases there are also trained army personnel.

The operations that take place here are controlled by the US special operations forces but have a significantly large dependence on private military contractors.

The bases are in Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya, and Seychelles.

Many experts believe that the special operation forces which have played a massive role in the Obama administrations national security strategy are working all over the globe and not just in war zones which bring in to question what the real motives are.
