White House demands military prisons for Americans under NDAA “A Department of Homeland Security bulletin was issued Friday claiming that the riots [in the Middle East] are likely to come to the US and saying that DHS is looking for the Islamic leaders of these likely riots,” Afran tells Hedges. “It is my view that this is why the government wants to reopen the NDAA — so it has a tool to round up would-be Islamic protesters before they can launch any protest, violent or otherwise. Right now there are no legal tools to arrest would-be protesters. The NDAA would give the government such power. Since the request to vacate the injunction only comes about on the day of the riots, and following the DHS bulletin, it seems to me that the two are connected. The government wants to reopen the NDAA injunction so that they can use it to block protests.”

Romney's first project with Bain in 1977: Help propel Monsanto One year before Mitt Romney began working on the Bain & Company project to rebuild "Monsanto" and cast their new image and focus on agriculture biotechnology, Congress passed a bill banning PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl), an odorless, tasteless, clear liquid known to cause cancer that was the "bread and butter" of Monsanto's profits. Monsanto was already branded and plagued with the label of having created the "Agent Orange" contaminated dioxins used in Vietnam. Now Monsanto would need a big save, financially and reputation-wise, so they could fool the public with their new image and a new "frontier," while secretly polluting and genetically modifying American agriculture with the new faceless poison known as Roundup.

Russia bans all GM corn imports; EU may also ban Monsanto GMO in wake of shocking cancer findings
Russia has now officially banned all imports of genetically modified corn, citing concerns from a recent study by French researchers showing rats grew massive cancer tumors when fed a lifetime of Monsanto's genetically modified corn.
Russia's consumer protection group, Rospotrebnadzor, said it was halting all imports of GM corn while the country's Institute of Nutrition will be evaluating the results of the study.
The Russian ban is the latest blow to Monsanto, a company desperately clinging to the myth that its genetically modified crops are "no different" than traditional crops and therefore long-term safety testing is completely unnecessary. Monsanto has assaulted the French study, claiming it did not use enough rats and that the duration of the study was too short -- an absurd claim, given that Monsanto's own studies on animals are only 90 days in duration, while the French study looked at the effects of rats eating GM corn (and drinking trace levels of Roundup herbicide) for two years.
The Tide Turns: Monsanto's GM Corn Suspended In Russia
In a bold and encouraging move on Tuesday, Russian authorities suspended the import of Monsanto's genetically-modified corn over cancer fears spurred by an alarming long-term animal feeding study performed by French researchers at the University of Caen and published in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology this month.
According to Russia Today:
The Russia's consumer-rights regulator Rospotrebnadzor asked scientists at the country's Institute of Nutrition to review the study. The watchdog has also contacted to European Commission's Directorate General for Health & Consumers to explain the EU's position on GM corn.
SYNOPSIS It is pathetic to know the effects of GMO’s foods from other country than to the so-called superpower, U.S. of A. But at the same time, it is a blessing to the humankind to know that there are countries out there that cares about humanity. Unfortunately, America is not one of those countries that care about their own people’s health. If the majority of the American people DO NOT care about their own health, why would the government cares?
Let alone the government itself is the protector of the Franken foods. So, in my opinion, in lieu of looking for your retirement, I think it is better to ask ourselves if we are healthy when the retirement comes…

Since average progressives don't fall into these categories, they seem happy to call for the destruction of their rights in the land of the free. Much like most Americans went along with the USA PATRIOT Act after 9/11 because they were told only foreign Muslims would be spied on and indefinitely detained without charges. Only after the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) did Americans realize that these tactics were actually intended for domestic civilians.
Now that their beloved Peace-Prize president is openly providing support to Al Qaeda, first in Libya and now in Syria, it was imperative to redirect the vast anti-terrorism apparatus to a credible new enemy. Right-wing extremists fit the bill perfectly, as they have been predictably programmed to take on that role for some time.
After numerous thwarted "lone wolf" terrorist plots were proven to be FBI patsies and the Fast and Furious government gun-running scandal was proven to be staged to attack gun rights, whoever is coordinating these sinister plots needed real blood to move their agenda forward.
